Exciting News

So here we go - our second blog - sorry for the delay, it is amazing how times runs away.

A very good friend once told me that if I did a blog I should refrain from posting anything that was of little significance - such as how many raisins I put in the muffins today! But then she said when you have something really exciting or important to post - sing out load!

Well we do have some really exciting news :

Edenwood House has been awarded "Guest House/Hotel of the year for 2016 from Booking.com for our area - I think that is something to write home about :-)

This was made possible due to the consistant good scores and reviews - which are all received with very grateful thanks from our wonderful guests, who have taken the time to comment on our establishment. Of course all those comments could not have been achieved if we did not have the dedicated staff who maintain Edenwood to it's high standard. I thank them all every day - but when they saw this acollade it certainly made them feel really good that their efforts do not go unnoticed. It is definately a Team effort, from front of house with myself and Corné our Butler/Assistant Manager, to Stan for his wonderful on-going maintenance and new projects, to the laundry and cleaning angels - Cordelia and Thandi, and of course not to forget the magic garden pixies, who keep the grounds so spick and span, Tinnie and Jonathan. Thank you Booking.com. Your award inspires us to work harder and keep trying to make every guest feel special and to leave with wonderful memories of their stay at Edenwood.
