OUR ROOMS
Edenwood House has a lot to offer our guests, and the rooms are no exception, which is one reason why we are consistently a top rated Guest House in George, and 4-Star rated by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Each room is individually decorated with it's own personality and the high quality mattresses and fine linens make them comfortable and cosy. The bathrooms all have showers accompanied by soft towels and toiletries. Heaters, fans, safes, hairdryers and free WIFI are available within each room.
Regency Suite
This beautiful and richly decorated room is downstairs in the main guest house. It is peaceful and calming in shades of green with cherry accents.
The bedroom hosts a pillow-top queen sized bed, solid oak furniture and en suite with shower, which flows down one step into the lounge area, with bay windows overlooking the garden.
The television is equipped with a DVD and Satellite decoder. - This room is suitable for single occupancy or double sharing, but also has the added advantage of a bed/settee in the lounge section, in case of a child traveling with parents and wishing to share.
Forest View Suite
This is our newest majestic and very popular spacious suite. Suitable for single or double occupancy (honeymoon couples!) or for two friends sharing, as the bed can be either a super king or twin 3/4 extra length beds. It is upstairs in the guest house. Peaceful and with lovely views. The 55" TV has a full DSTV package. The new en suite bathroom comes with extra large shower. The room leads to a private wooden balcony overlooking the pool, garden and forest.
A great place to relax, and watch the birds in the garden, whilst sipping a glass of wine during the lovely summer evenings. The separate new modern granite kitchen has a two plate ceramic hob and solar dome oven, refrigerator and is fully equipped. - It can be booked as either B&B or self-catering. The newest option for this suite is an adjoining bedroom (Mountain View Room) and bathroom, so that it can become a two bed roomed / two bath suite for a family or group of friends. This option is available on request.
Poppy Room
This room is best described as our “Matchbox” room. It is suitable for single occupancy or double sharing, and is downstairs in the main guest house.
For those on a “tight” budget it is a great option (Room size 3.1 x3.4 meters). Although the room is compact and unfortunately does not have the view, it does have a comfortable double bed and flatscreen satelite television, radio clock/alarm, heater panel and safe.
The en suite has a generous shower and is decorated in lovely bright red and white. For a limited stay or for a single this room is quite comfortable, however if you have a lot of luggage we will gladly re-store it for you until your departure to give you space in the room.
