ABOUT
Edenwood House is one those special places to stay, that one seeks when planning a holiday or business trip to the Garden Route. We pride ourselves on welcoming our guests with true South African hospitality and personal attention.
The house itself is nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains in a tranquil setting called Eden, which is adjacent to the Katberg Nature Reserve. Its meandering garden, tumbling river and comfortable ambiance, make it a sheer pleasure to return to after a day of exploring the Garden Route and surrounds.

The rooms at Edenwood House are all individually decorated with their own personality. Quality mattresses and fine linens that make them comfortable and cosy. OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
We serve a generous full English breakfast with buffet selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals or a continental option, with fruit, croissants cheeses and cold meats. Both are served with breads and homemade preserves and a selection of juices and freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Free Wireless (WIFI) High-Speed Internet access available in all rooms and at the pool.
Garden
Surrounded by trees, and with views of the indigenous forest, where the bird life abound, our garden is a beautiful spot to just take a stroll and take in nature.
Daily Housekeeping
All B&B rooms are fully serviced daily. Self Catering units are serviced on request for a fee.
Pool
Sparkling salt water pool with waterfall feature is just pure relaxation at its best. Towels are supplied poolside and comfortable loungers are the perfect spot to catch up on your reading.
Concierge Service

Beaches
South Africa has some of the best beaches in the world, especially along the Garden Route. Victoria Bay is just 5 minutes drive from Edenwood House and Wilderness is 10 minutes.
Golf
The Garden Route is known as the golfing mecca of South Africa. With no less than 12 golf courses, all within a short drive from Edenwood House.
Food & Wine

Safari Parks
George puts you in position to explore the flora of Garden Route, where you will find great marine life and birds along the way, as well as some lesser-visited national parks that protect several unique habitats. Additionally there are several private game reserves that offer day and night drives.
Walking, Hiking & Biking
There is no shortage of beautiful short walks, hikes of all difficulties both in the nature reserves , along the beaches and in the surrounding mountains. Whether you like to road bike or mountain bike, George and the surrounding areas have you covered.
